Argentinian Alfajores


  • 150 gr Butter
  • 150 gr Powdered sugar
  • 8 Yolks
  • 400 gr Flour
  • 10gr Baking poder
  • Lemon zest
  • Dulce de leche


  • Mix butter with powder sugar, add the yolks by one and mix all together with lemon zest
  • Separate mix the flour with the baking powder and the cornstarch and mix with the preparation before
  • Knead a little bit
  • Stretch the dough ½ cm thick and cut it in rounds
  • Bake at 170 C for 5 minutes
  • Let the cookies cool, then placed a generous dollop of dulce de leche on one cookie, topping with another. Press gently together
