Quebrada de Humahuaca

Direction north, towards the province of Jujuy and the UNESCO World Heritage Site site of Quebrada de Humahuaca…This region is known for its splendid countryside and the many cities harbouring pre-Columbian and colonial vestiges. The village of Purmamarca is a must stop, because it is at the base of the Cerro de los Siete Colores (“The Hill of Seven Colors”). From beige to violet via green, the chromatic palette of this mountainside is breath-taking.
