2030 Winter Olympics: where to stay in Courchevel and Méribel?
After Milano Cortina 2026, the Olympic flame is heading to the French Alps. From 1 to 17 February 2030, the French Alps 2030 Olympic Winter Games will bring Savoie, Haute-Savoie and the Hautes-Alpes to life, followed by the Paralympic Games from 1 to 10 March 2030.
At the heart of the 3 Vallées ski area, Courchevel will host the Alpine skiing speed events – downhill and super-G – as well as ski jumping. A rare opportunity to experience the Olympics right by the slopes.
Maison Fenestraz welcomes you to front-row seats at two addresses in the 3 Vallées: Hôtel de La Loze in Courchevel 1850 and Hôtel AlpenRuitor in Méribel-Mottaret.
French Alps 2030: the Games return to Savoie
Nearly forty years after Albertville 1992, the Winter Olympic Games are returning to the French Alps. Competitions will be spread across several hubs: Savoie for Alpine skiing, bobsleigh, luge and skeleton, Haute-Savoie for cross-country skiing and biathlon, the Briançonnais area for freestyle and snowboard, and Lyon for ice sports.
In Savoie, Alpine skiing will be shared between Val d’Isère for the technical events (slalom and giant slalom) and Courchevel for the speed events. A fitting continuation for the resort, which already hosted ski jumping in 1992 and co-hosted the 2023 Alpine World Ski Championships with Méribel.
The Paralympic Games will extend the celebrations in March 2030, including para Alpine skiing and para snowboard in Savoie.
